to Colonial Office letter of the 23rd of July, 1928,

52753/28 relative to the provision of technical advis

ise

in connection with the layout of Kai Tak aerodrome

and to acquaint you for the information of the Secretary

of State for the Colonies that they have made arrangements

for Mr.Dawson to embark on the 18th instant for Hong

Kong on the S/S "Patroclus".

Mr.Dawson will arrive at Hong Kong about the

20th September and will afterwards proceed to Singapore

to inspect the progress of work on the Air Base at

Seletar. He will probably reach Singapore by about

the 10th October.
